Weekly Food Drive
Drop off your donations Sunday mornings in the red barrels at the church’s entrance. These donations go toward the U-District Food Bank to serve individuals and families in need.
Items needed: Canned meat and fruit, Shelf-stable milk and milk alternatives, Paper products, Baby supplies, Socks
Friday Prayer Walks
Pray for our neighborhood as we walk the U-District every Friday. This is a one-hour walk at a slow pace to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in prayer for the people in our neighborhood. All are welcome. We will meet at glass doors on 15th AVE, rain or shine; you don’t have to sign up — just show up. Click here for more information
Global Friends

Language Institute
The Language Institute at University Presbyterian Church offers classes to improve your reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. There are opportunities for people to practice their conversational English. For ways to serve, contact Kristine at kristiner@upc.org.
Local Ministry Partners
Street Youth Ministries
Street Youth Ministries (SYM) is a faith-based nonprofit serving homeless youth and youth in crisis ages 13 through 26. The Drop-in Center provides basic needs of youth, including food, hygiene items, showers, clothing, and laundry. Drop-in volunteers help staff to make connections and meet the needs of youth that come to the center.
U-District Food Bank
The U-District Food Bank serves individuals and families in need with food and access to resources to help them become self-sufficient. Find opportunities to volunteer in person.
Union Gospel Mission
Be a Union Gospel Mission volunteer to serve others in the dark streets of the U-District and be a light to men and women who desperately need Jesus. See volunteer opportunities at https://www.ugm.org/volunteer. Sign-up for the UPC Search & Rescue van happening the second Friday of the month.
Operation Nightwatch

Elizabeth Gregory Home
