Bible Study Fellowship’s Next Study | People of the Promise: Kingdom Divided
It’s amazing how often Jesus references the Old Testament in our last study of Matthew. Starting this fall, we will explore the roots of our faith while continuing to deepen our understanding of Jesus as Messiah. People of the Promise: Kingdom Divided will increase our hope in Christ by exploring 15 Old Testament books, from the death of Solomon through exile. It covers the narrative in 1 and 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles. Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah will be studied where they fit into Israel’s storyline. Isaiah is folded into a four-week segment exploring major themes while relishing the rich passages within this beloved book. The study also contains material new to BSF content: Jeremiah and Lamentations!
